The 34 galleries represented at this year’s SetUp showed a huge range of the contemporary art production. There were paintings, sculptures, photos and installations from traditional to experimental and from figurative to abstract. Some works were conceptual; others more decorative and still others had a surrealist touch. Several oeuvres used pre-existing objects, changed their appearance or put them into a new context.
