Even though several artistic events took place in real live, others were only virtually visitable. At the same time, other activities arose. In consequence, our review mainly shows the artworks of the month. However, there are some exceptions like an online art fair, a postal exhibition and a video-performance. There was the Bolognese Art City with numerous exhibitions, a catalogue review of a postponed exhibition and the second edition of an artist solidarity project.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>January<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Footnotes5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Footnotes5-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With her photo \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9459\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">F\u2019OOT N\u2019OTES (A Rehearsal) #5<\/a><\/span>\u201d <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=9679\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ode de Kort<\/a><\/span> prepared a new performance. The principal protagonists are black wellingtons and a red stockinged leg. Moreover, there are accessories recalling punctuation marks or musical notations. Thereby occurs a rhythm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>February<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Duesseldorf-ValentinaDAccardi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9508\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Duesseldorf-ValentinaDAccardi-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=9510\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valentina D\u2019Accardi<\/a><\/span> took pictures from a multi-storey building of her neighbourhood. The title \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9507\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D\u00fcsseldorf<\/a><\/span>\u201d refers to the renowned photographic school, but in an interesting sense.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Playlist1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9469\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Playlist1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The traditional Bolognese art fair <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9462\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ARTEFIERA<\/a><\/span> was this year only online.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fi-Dear_you_immagine_guida_Mattia_Paje.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9524\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fi-Dear_you_immagine_guida_Mattia_Paje-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And the Museo d\u2019Arte Moderna di Bologna (MAMbo) conceived an <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9514\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analogue exhibition in a special way<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>March<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/carros-satyreDSC_9871.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9521\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/carros-satyreDSC_9871-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Inspired by a 17th century decoration in the chateau of Carros, <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">V\u00e9ronique Champollion<\/a><\/span> made the collagraphy \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9520\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Satyr (No. 3)<\/a><\/span>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/sceenshot.2jpg.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9531\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/sceenshot.2jpg-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To remind the triple catastrophe of Fukushima, Thomas Neumann initiated the video-performance <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9529\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e4rztage<\/a><\/span> (March days) with readings of his diary from 2011. Postponed from January, visitors finally could appreciate a wide range of art shows in reality. We visited 18 of the venues throughout the city.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>June<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/GRS316_3SMALL-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9666\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/GRS316_3SMALL-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">During the lockdown, <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=7161\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greta Sch\u00f6dl<\/a><\/span> revived an idea from 1978 and created a huge series of inscribed stones. Herewith the artist refers to various forms of verbal exchange in a female world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/TitelbildCJFIN.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9721\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/TitelbildCJFIN-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Postponed for nearly a year, the exhibition \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9698\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cause &amp; Effect \u2013 Graphic Prints in the GDR from the Collection Nowoisky<\/a><\/span>\u201d was inaugurated in the Municipal Museums of Zittau, Germany. The catalogue by <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.art-travail.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Claudia Jansen<\/a><\/span> provides the reader with information about the history of the collection and the significance of art prints in the GDR. Moreover, there are insights about the development of the different art schools and a huge number of illustrations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>November<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/amandine-urruty-egg-triptych-210x100cm-SMALL-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9744\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/amandine-urruty-egg-triptych-210x100cm-SMALL-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Suitable for Halloween, we presented <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=9748\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amandine Urruty<\/a><\/span>\u2019s \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9743\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Egg Triptych<\/a><\/span>\u201d with numerous strange figures. They are sometimes amusing but sometimes also scary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/254944588_2694542537518710_94763846274094416_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-thumbnail wp-image-9753\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/254944588_2694542537518710_94763846274094416_n-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Encouraging rather than frightening is the project \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benefit-for-artists.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Benefit for Artists<\/a><\/span>\u201d, which went in its <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=9752\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">second edition<\/a><\/span>.
