During the weekend of the ARTE FIERA in Bologna, there are many artistic initiatives to welcome visitors and local residents. The range is huge from classical panel painting to installation, film projection and performance. Every art lover might find something interesting. In the following, we present our impressions of 28 events. They are sorted by the end date, since several shows are still ongoing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bruna Esposito: Inconveniente<\/strong>

The sculptural works by Bruna Esposito – created since 2014 – primarily use the colour gold. This could be isothermal safety covers or golden wrapping paper in reference to these. The cycle is inspired by television pictures of the arriving of refugees from Africa in Lampedusa (Italian island). Though two days before, the military under Augusto Pinochet took over power by a coup d\u2019\u00e9tat and the oeuvres by Orozco, Rivera and Siqueiros were sent back to Mexico in a hurry.
