However, many venues opened earlier, and some remain longer. So, the people had and have the possibility to appreciate comfortably more events than only in the days of the simultaneously scheduled art fair. In occasion of the 60th death anniversary of Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964) the five special projects were inspirated by the Bolognese artist. Five creatives dedicated works in their contemporary language to him: Virgilio Sieni conceived a performance with students of the local academy of arts; Joel Meyerowitz and Mary Ellen Bartley translated Morandi\u2019s oeuvre into photography; Tacita Dean\u2019s video Still Life from 2009 was on view and Mark Vernon presented a sound performance in the artist summer residency in Grizzana Morandi.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, there were many venues throughout the city in public and private institutions, galleries and uncountable other places like libraries, ancient palazzi or even in the public space. In a <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=14799\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preview<\/a><\/span>, we already presented nine events.
