Once again directed artistically by Simone Menegoi, Italian’s oldest trade show returned after two editions to the ground-based halls 25 and 26, close to the main entrance of the exhibition side. In consequence, it was easier to come to the venue from the city centre and facilitated to enter it. With its 141 participating galleries, editors and institutions, the spaces were harmoniously populated by the booths. However, there was enough space for the visitors to appreciate the presentations.

Within the Main Section of Modern Art and After-War Art (principally in hall 26) and the contemporary Galleries (predominantly in hall 25), several stands focused on ceramics with the new itinerary “Percorso”. Thereby, the direction took the traditional and increasing contemporary use of ceramics in art into account. A remarkable example was the booth of the Maria Livia Brunelli Home Gallery with the artist duo Bertozzi & Casoni.

Besides the Main Section with various kinds of artistic expressions, there were three key topics: Pittura XXI, with painting of the 21st century (15 galleries), Fotografia e immagini in movimento, with mainly photography, but also some videos (12 galleries) and the newly created division for multiples with ten galleries and editors.
