With this the focus is not only on art in public space, but changed more to report on exhibitions and presentation of international artists via the artwork of the month. First we published only on our Facebook website. However, since July 2015 we have our new regular website, where we included as well most of the articles and photo documentations starting from January 2015. In addition there is an archive of the old publications as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>January<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/logos.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1210 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/logos-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"logos\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Traditionally the year of art starts in Bologna with the ARTEFIERA, the ART CITY and its collateral events. We have shown some impressions of the <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=288\" target=\"_blank\">ARTEFIERA<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and the <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=133\" target=\"_blank\">ART CITY WHITE NIGHT<\/a><\/span>. There are images from \u201cPUBLIC COLLECTION \u2013 Bologna\u201d by Alexandra Pirici &amp; Manuel Pelmus who performed famous artworks. We visited Adiacenze, with its solo exhibitions \u201cLa natura (mai) morta\u201d by Elsa Salonen and the cooperated &#8220;Paperpools&#8221; by Rainer Splitt with works coming from the Berlin based Werkstattgalerie. Together with the Spazio Testoni in Bologna the Werkstattgalerie presented the exhibition \u201cCheck Point\u201d with sculptures by Fabrizio Pozzoli and photos by Benjamin Reich and Lea Golda Holterman. The Gallleriapi\u00f9 offered a group exhibition called \u201cAltrimenti che essere\u201c and we visited Mitchell McAuley in his workshop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>February<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/vers_le_ciel.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-88 size-thumbnail aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/vers_le_ciel-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"vers_le_ciel\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In February we published our first artwork of the month. It was provided by the French-Peruvian artist Gloria Li Mir. <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=87\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cVers le ciel\u201d<\/a> <\/span>(To the sky) is an example of her research about white as colour with all its possibilities of reflexion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>March<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/14-Tage-Sonne-in-Suedfrankreich.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-117 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/14-Tage-Sonne-in-Suedfrankreich-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"14 Tage Sonne in Suedfrankreich\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The month of March brought <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=108\" target=\"_blank\">\u201c14 Tage Sonne in S\u00fcdfrankreich \u2013 ab heute\u201d<\/a> <\/span>(14 days of sun in the south of France \u2013 from today) by the German artist Kirsten Kl\u00f6ckner. The watercolour painting is part of her series Wunschprogramm (desired programme), where people can express wishes, that she transforms in artworks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_20150320_194023.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-531 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/IMG_20150320_194023-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20150320_194023\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Moreover in March Adiacenze presented the show <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=503\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cFEMINA. Life of the clothes of Sveva Zamboni\u201d<\/a><\/span> by Fratelli Broche curated by Silvia Mei. Through the installation of clothes, accessories and a video one could follow the life of the imaginary personality Sveva Zamboni.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>April<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Les-Joueuses-de-Cartes.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-285 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Les-Joueuses-de-Cartes-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Margaret Michel offered in April with <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=280\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cLes joueuses de Cartes\u201d<\/a><\/span> (The card players) a Frankenstein like installation. Lost in daydreams she was scattering flowers somewhere in a park in Nice, France, instead of hanging around in the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/drawings-zero.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1216 size-thumbnail\" Thyra Schmidt\u2019s exhibition \u201cBlaue T-Shirts, Jeans und Turnschuhe\u201d (Blue T-Shirts, Jeans and Trainers). <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=455\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cObwohl \u2026\u201d<\/a> <\/span>(Although \u2026) is a printed text which might be seen as text, but as well as an image.<\/p>\n<p>Three Bolognese exhibitions attracted our attention:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/KateNewby.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1219 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/KateNewby-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"KateNewby\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=616\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cWhere the trees line the water that falls asleep in the afternoon.\u201d<\/a><\/span> A group show at the Gallery P420, with works of Rodrigo Hern\u00e1ndez, Clare Grill and Kate Newby, curated by Chris Sharp.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/GiulioMaulini-.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" fecero a pezzi\u201d<\/a><\/span> by the artists Giulia Carpentieri, Irene Fenara, Giulio Maulini and Andrea Parenti, curated by Teresa Serra and Pietro Cortona.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/cups.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-728 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/cups-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"cups\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=709\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cInventarium\u201d<\/a><\/span> at the Galleriapi\u00f9 Giovanni Gaggia reflected via drawings the Ustica Massacre, which happened in June 1980, when a plane from Bologna on its way to Palermo crashed in the Tyrrhenian Sea, close to the island Ustica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After the summer break the September artwork of the month was <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=814\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cCyclope\u201d<\/a><\/span> (Cyclops) by the German painter Rosemarie Krefeld. It is a good example how Rosemarie constructs picture out of abstract geometric forms. Nevertheless the result inspires to discover the personage that the title evokes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>October<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/5-minutes-free-Zone2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-827 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/5-minutes-free-Zone2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"5 minutes free Zone1\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the month of October the Italian artists Rebecca Ballestra &amp; Lucia Palmero offered <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=829\" target=\"_blank\">\u201c5 minutes free zone\u201d<\/a><\/span>. The solar parasol was originally used to provide electricity to the refugees in Ventimiglia blocked at the French border to recharge their cell phones. In the installation at the Spazio Testoni it supplied iPhones to show videos about the refugee situation there.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Spaghetti.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1222 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Spaghetti-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Spaghetti\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Italian artist Giulia Bonora cooked sculptures for the FOOD PROJECT: \u201cIl gesso come la farina\u201d (The plaster as the flour). We participated at the live streaming of the creation of the <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=879\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cSpaghetti all\u2019Amatriciana\u201d<\/a><\/span> at the Gallleriapi\u00f9.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Liz_1027.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-898 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Liz_1027-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Liz, Oil on paper, 75 cm x 100 cm\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Galleria B4 presented the exhibition <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=901\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cVolti oltre\u201d<\/a><\/span> (More than faces) by Alessandra Alma Masi. Besides many painted portraits of well-known and unknown personalities, there was as well a video projection of live recorded portraits.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20150826_174629.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1034 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20150826_174629-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20150826_174629\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Just before the end of the Biennale \u201cAll the Worlds Futures\u201d we started our reflexions about this year\u2019s exhibition in Venice. Inspired by the Arena subject of reading \u201cDas Kapital\u201d by Karl Marx, we focused in the first part on <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=960\" target=\"_blank\">three artistic approaches<\/a><\/span> to conditions of labour.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>November<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ZesteNL.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-877 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ZesteNL.jpg\" alt=\"ZesteNL\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Marie Cagnasso contributed the artwork of the month in November. The French ceramist created the porcelain sculpture <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=872\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cZeste de mer\u201d<\/a><\/span> (Zest of the sea). It captures the impression of a relatively calm sea, which reflects the sunrays so that it is meant to be only the skin of something else.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Picnic1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1044 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Picnic1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Picnic\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Picnic1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Picnic1.jpg 286w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Luciano Leonotti\u2019s photo exhibition <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?p=1041\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cRituali\u201d<\/a><\/span> (Rituals) at the Bolognese Gallery L\u2019Ariete Artecontemporanea invited to assist to Italian contemporary Rituals. The images are surprisingly different from what one might expect.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Linea-Rossa-WS.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1070 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Linea-Rossa-WS-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Linea Rossa WS\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alan Maglio and Fabio Giampietro drew a red line through the Spazio Testoni.
