{"id":6394,"date":"2018-04-05T12:00:30","date_gmt":"2018-04-05T10:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=6394"},"modified":"2018-04-05T12:00:30","modified_gmt":"2018-04-05T10:00:30","slug":"mariela-fornasari","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=6394","title":{"rendered":"Mariela Fornasari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Born in 1985 in Pergamino, Argentina, Mariela first started studies of psychology at the \u201cUniversidad Nacional de Rosario\u201d (<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unr.edu.ar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UNR<\/a><\/span> &#8211; National University of Rosario). After one year, in 2005, she changed to the department of fine arts at the same institution. Since she grew up in an artistic atmosphere, due to her musically affected grandparents and an early education in drawing and ceramics, her dedication to visual arts was not surprisingly. Furthermore, she attended the \u201cEscuela Municipal de Est\u00e9tica\u201d (Municipal School of Aesthetics). Through her family\u2019s origins, she owns the citizenship of San Marino, besides the Argentinian. To improve her Italian language skills, she participated in 2010 in the cultural exchange \u201cSoggiorni Culturali\u201d (Cultural Residency) supported by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of San Marino.<\/p>\n<p>From 2009 to 2013 Mariela worked as assistant at the chair of engraving at the UNR, first under Roxana Celman and then under Adri\u00e1n Del Grosso. Here she was awarded with the third prize of the \u201cSal\u00f3n de Peque\u00f1o Formato\u201d. In 2013, she received the title of a National Professor of Fine Arts with the orientation of engraving. Since 2014, she is working as teacher at the high school \u201cInstituto Superior Gral. Jos\u00e9 San Mart\u00edn\u201d in Rosario. Additionally, she is lecturer at the chair of engraving at the UNR. Besides, she gives workshops at the \u201cEscuela de Est\u00e9tica\u201d in Pergamino and at the \u201cSanatorio Alem\u201d in Rosario. In 2016, she initiated a serigraphy studio at the \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/galeriaMOEBIUS\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moebius<\/a><\/span>\u201d, a multicultural art space in Rosario.<\/p>\n<p>Together with <span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.artificialis.eu\/?page_id=6395\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ainel\u00e9n Bertotti Burket<\/a><\/span>, Mariela founded the \u201c<span style=\"color: #2c80aa;\"><a style=\"color: #2c80aa;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.proyectoqd.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Proyecto Quarta Dimensione<\/a><\/span>\u201d, to create three-dimensional installations from two-dimensional prints. Herewith the artists want to attract the observer\u2019s perception to open it for an awareness of a fourth dimension. In 2017, the project was selected for the XI. Florence Biennale.
